Squier has impressed me.

Wed Oct 7, 2009, 1:30 PM
I bought a Fretless Jazz Bass guitar about a year ago, brand-new, all shiny and fresh and sparkly. It sounded gorgeous and while I'm not actually talented enough to play it well, I still loved to play it anyway because it just felt so damn nice under my fingers.

But there was a problem with it - the neck kept warping. Over the year of owning it, the neck keept bending forward, no matter how many times I adjusted it. It got to the point where every two weeks or so, I had to take out some tools and adjust the truss rod to get the neck flat... and that would only last for a few days.

Pissed me off, let me tell you.

But, I eventually gave up and brought it back to the shop I had bought it from. The fellow behind the counter cheerfully took it and sent it off to a Luthier he knows to try and straighten the thing out, and all costs going on Squier's tab, as I was still under warranty.

Unfortunately, even the luthier couldn't do anything for my beautiful bass, so... Squier is sending me a new one.

Sweet.

Theya re back-ordered for the things, so I'm not actually going to GET the new one until about Christmas time... but hey, it's still coming.

Excellent Mouse Guard pieces. ^ ^

I can only wish that I were able to join a Mouse Guard RP.

Heeey, thanks kindly!

I'd like to try for an MGRP myself, but all attempts fizzle before they even start...
:iconkurocyn:
I've only just found the MGRP book, but I'm really hoping to find a group willing to try it with my friend and I.

And thanks for the fav on my dragonborn, Kur'os. ^ ^

PS: BATTLE TECHNIQUE -> FAIR SHAKE
You give equal consideration to both sides of the argument.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get started drawing Mouse Guard and Redwall mice? I mean, how did you start of drawing that style? Bleh, my questions aren't making sense.

I want to try and draw this kind of stuff, and I'm not sure where to start.
